Dubai Expo 2020by Supercarperhour
The COVID-19 pandemic has stopped much, but not the construction of Dubai's newest mega-project. The recent announcement made by the Dubai Government to start work on the Dubai Expo 2020 site in early 2019 is an exciting time for Dubai's economic development. With the latest vaccine news and a series of face-to-face events, Expo 2020 has given organisers hope that tourists will come to take part in the event, even if it is delayed by a year due to the pandemic.
It is the first World Expo to take place in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia and will run for six months from October 2021 until March 2022. Considered the biggest global event in terms of economic and cultural impact since the Olympics and FIFA World Cup, the six-month event is expected to attract millions of visitors to Dubai, attract significant foreign investment in the UAE and build on Dubai’s core economic sectors of finance, construction, tourism and hospitality.
